Problem Collective presents an exhibition of Information Stands and a performative reading session at The Promise of Kneropy’s reading room. As a part of Beuys will be Beuys, a year-long festival initiated by Goethe-Institut Bratislava and commemorating Joseph Beuys's 100 anniversary, Problem Collective tells the aesthetic and political history of striking in the heat of the moment during the social uprising in Belarus 2020-21 and its deep history.

Thinking about the representation of strikes in the historical perspective, Problem Collective juxtaposes it with the contemporary strikes in Belarus. In 2020-21 many factories, universities, cultural institutions, and companies have been striking against police and state violence. Being silenced by the official media, the strike manifested itself through low-quality images, public statements, insider reports, employees' dismissals, and arrests, chants, and banners. The visual form selected by the collective is an information board that is a very popular didactic tool in educational facilities, libraries, and factories for the dissemination of information.
